Mortal Kombat X has been out for a week and it’s one hell of a time. While the last game was about celebrating the original trilogy and all of its characters (except Motaro because nobody cares enough about him to want to program centaur physics), the new one jumps forward a couple decades and gives us a handful of new faces. On one side, you have the four second generation warriors out to save the world. Then you have another four characters representing the barbaric rule of Outworld. Then there’s Tremor, a part of the series who never got a real appearance as a fighter, but will once he’s available as DLC on June 7.

Months back, I decided to rank all the Mortal Kombat characters from worst to best. With the roster expanded with the new guys, it’s time for me to add them in while shifting some names here and there. I
